Auf in den "Cloud Palace"

Hallo,

 

heute kann ich endlich das Bärchentrio vorstellen, das ich im Auftrag meiner lieben Blogfreundin Betsy genadelt habe. Drei neue Feen-BiWuBärchen wollte Betsy für ihr wunderbares Projekt "Cloud Palace" haben, in dem ja bereits Blue, Brother Beorn und Sir Orion ihr Zuhause haben. Und nachdem Betsy mir ein paar Rahmendaten gegeben hatte (Namen, Charakterzüge, Farbe) habe ich mich ans Werk gemacht... Und hier sind sie nun - die neuen Bewohner des Cloud Palace:

... today I'm finally able to introduce the beary trio I have sewn as a custom order for my dear blogfriend Betsy. Betsy asked me to create three new fairy bearies for her gorgeous project "The Cloud Palace" in which Blue, Brother Beorn and Sir Orion already found their home. And after Betsy had given me some framework data (names, characteristics, colours) I started to work... And here they are - the new inhabitants of the Cloud Palace:

               

               

Wenn Sweet Pea Daumen hätte, dann wären die nicht nur wegen ihres grünen Fells grün... Sie ist eine Pflanzenliebhaberin und -expertin, ähnlich wie Brother Beorn, aber viel praktischer als er. Mit ihrem Gartenmesser, das sie immer dabei hat (und das sie - dem Magnetismus sei Dank - auch in der Pfote halten kann) macht sie die nötigen Hilfsschnitte, entfernt Verblühtes und gräbt auch schon mal in der Erde damit. Auch ihr Pflanzenbuch hat sie meistens dabei - entweder zum Nachlesen oder um Pflanzenteile darin aufzuheben.

If Sweet Pea would have thumbs they would be green and not just because her fur is green... She's a plant lover and -expert, just like Brother Beorn but she's way more practical than him. With the garden knife she's always carrying with her (and which she can hold in her paw thanks to magnetism) she's able to do the needed helping cuts, removes withered parts and even digs in the soil with it. Most of the time she also has her plant book at paw - whether for looking something up or for saving parts of plants in it. 

         

           

Als kleines Extra für den Cloud Palace (oder für Brother Beorn, man weiß es nicht so genau) hat Sweet Pea ein Exemplar der äußerst seltenen Fluffy Cloud-Pflanze mitgebracht...

As a little extra for the Cloud Palace (or maybe for Brother Beorn, who knows) Sweet Pea brought a specimen of the very rare Fluffy Cloud plant with her...

              

           

Der nächste im Bunde ist Hamish Harry "Hotcakes" McCloud... ein Feenbärchen mit schottischen Wurzeln und der zukünftige Koch vom Cloud Palace.

The next one to be introduced is Hamish Harry "Hotcakes" McCloud... a fairy beary with Scottish roots and the future cook of the Cloud Palace.

             

           

Harry hat stets ein Handtuch (natürlich mit Tartan-Muster), einen Löffel und sein Kochmesser dabei, letzteres kann er auch in der Pfote halten. Und noch ein Accessoire ist für Harry ganz wichtig, denn er liebt es besonders, Plätzchen zu backen: Der Teigroller. Und auch den kann er in der Pfote halten... sei es, um den Teig auszurollen oder um bärige Naschkatzen aus der Küche zu vertreiben...

Harry always carries a towel (of course with a tartan), a spoon and his cooking knife with him... being able to hold the knife in his paw. And another accessoire is very important to Harry because he loves to bake cookies: The rolling pin. He's able to hold this in his paw too... whether for rolling out cookie dough or for keeping bearies with a sweet tooth out of his kitchen...

            

              

Legt Euch nicht mit Harry an! *lach* Das dritte Feenbärchen ist Lady Lavender - die beste Freundin von Blue, der blauen Wunschfee, und Sweet Peas Kusine... und Betsy wird bestimmt bald heraus finden, wozu Lavenders Feenstab bestimmt ist.

Don't mess with Harry! *LOL* The third fairy beary is Lady Lavender - the best friend of Blue, the Blue Wishing Fairy, and Sweet Pea's cousin... and I bet Betsy will find out very soon the dedication of Lavender's wand.

           

            

Lady Lavender hat - Überraschung! - einen Lavendeltopf mit in den Cloud Palace gebracht. Allerdings haben wir vor ihrer Abreise festgestellt, dass sie auch Rosen liebt...

Lady Lavender brought - surprise! - a lavender pot with her to the Cloud Palace. Anyway we noticed before her departure that she's also fond of roses...

        

            

Aber gut... Rosen und Lavendel sind ja auch eine klassische Kombination im Garten... *schmunzel* Übrigens sind die Drei auch von hinten echte Bärsönlichkeiten:

Leider sieht man es auf den Fotos immer nicht so gut, aber als echte Feenbärchen haben alle drei glitzernde Flügel und Nasen - das und ihre magischen Fähigkeiten unterscheiden sie übrigens von den BiWuBären-Flatterbärchen wie Flutterby oder Fluttercino. 

Sadly it never shows up well on the pictures but being true fairy bearies all three of them have glittery wings and noses - this and their magical abilities make the difference to the BiWuBear flutterybearies like Flutterby or Fluttercino.

 

Inzwischen sind die Drei wohlbehalten in ihrem neuen Zuhause angekommen (den wunderbaren Post über ihre Ankunft könnt Ihr hier sehen) - und ich freue mich schon jetzt auf all die wunderbaren Geschichten, die Betsy auf ihrem Blog über die sechs Feenbärchen vom Cloud Palace erzählen wird. Und ganz unter uns... wann immer das Wetter uns einen schönen blauen Himmel beschert... dann kommt es mir manchmal so vor, als würde ich dort sechs Feenbärchen fröhlich lachen hören... ;O)

In the meantime all three arrived safe and sound at their new home (here you can see the wonderful post about their arrival) - and I'm already looking forward to all the wonderful tales Betsy is going to tell on her blog about the six fairy bearies from the Cloud Palace. And just between us... whenever the weather spoils us with a lovely blue sky... then it sometimes appears to me as if I would hear the happy laughter from six fairy bearies from up there... ;O)

Erica und Cina

Hallo,

 

heute wollen sich zwei BiWuBärchen vorstellen, die ich beide als Geschenk für besondere Menschen gemacht habe...
... today two BiWuBearies would like to be introduced - both were dedicated as gifts to someone special.

 

Den Anfang macht Lady Erica de Winter, eine neue Snow Lady, die meine Eltern am 1. Dezember in ihrem Adventskalender gefunden haben.
First in line is Lady Erica de Winter, a new Snow Lady, whom my parents found in their Advent calendar at December 1st.

            

         

Erica trägt wie fast alle Snow Ladies einen Designerhut von Kat-the-Hat-Lady. Passt gut zu ihrer Nase, oder? *grins*
Like almost all my Snow Ladies Erica is also wearing a designer's hat made by Kat-the-Hat-Lady. Matches her nose well, doesn't it? *grin*

         

 

Cappucina musste etwas länger auf ihren großen Auftritt warten, denn sie war mein Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Freundin Melli. So sieht die Kleine aus - die normalerweise Cina gerufen wird:
Cappucina had to wait a little longer until it was showtime for her because she was my Christmas gift for my friend Melli. That's how she looks like - btw usually she's just called Cina:

         

           

 

Dass sie Cappucina heißt, kommt natürlich nicht von ungefähr - bisher hat es Fluci alias Fluttercino als Kaffeeliebhaber nicht ganz so einfach in Mellis Heim. Aber nun bekommt er Verstärkung... und Cina hat sogar eine Kaffeemaschine mitgebracht. Da steht einem gemütlichen Kaffeeklatsch ja nichts mehr im Wege... ;O)

There's a reason for the name Cappucina - until now Fluci aka Fluttercino being a coffee lover was quite alone with this obsession at Melli's home. But now someone came to his aid... and Cina also brought a coffee machine with her. Well, no more obstacles for a nice cozy "Kaffeeklatsch"... ;O)

Bommel

Hallo,

 

auf unserem Hauptblog haben ihn ja schon viele gesehen - aber nun wird es höchste Zeit, dass Bommel auch hier noch einmal seinen eigenen Post bekommt. Immerhin ist dieser kleine BiWuBären-Schneemann ja etwas ganz Besonderes... ein Geburtstagsgeschenk für meine Mama, die Schneemänner total liebt, und ausgestattet mit einem wunderschönen Schal und einer tollen Mütze, maßgestrickt von der lieben Nina. Aber nun geht's los - hier kommt Bommel!

... some of you might have seen him on our main blog already - but now it's about highest time that Bommel gets his own post here. After all this little BiWuBeary Snowman is something special... a birthday present for my Mom who is in love with snowmen and decorated with a beautiful scarf and a gorgeous cap, knitted just for him by dear Nina. But now we start - here comes Bommel!

Peevee

Hallo,

 

heute möchte sich Peevee vorstellen. Eigentlich heißt er ja mit vollem Namen "Primavera", denn er ist ein echtes Frühlingsbärchen - auch wenn er erst im Sommer geboren wurde. Aber begonnen habe ich ihn am Ende des Winters und irgendwie war mir da einfach nach Grün und Frühling... und so ist eben dieses kleine grüne Feenbärchen entstanden. Übrigens mag er es gar nicht gern, wenn man ihn bei seinem richtigen Namen ruft... er meint er ist nun mal ein Bärchenjunge und da hat die Vera nichts zu suchen... jedenfalls findet er die Kurzform Peevee viel besser. *schmunzel*  Aber nun genug der Worte - jetzt gibt's ein paar Bilder von meinem grünen Frühlingsbärchen - original im Sommer aufgenommen... *lach*

... today Peevee would like to be introduced. Actually his real name is "Primavera" because he is a true spring beary - although he was born in summer. But I started to work on him at the end of winter with a deep longing for green and spring... and so this little green fairy beary was created. Btw he doesn't like being called by his full name... he says he's a beary boy and has nothing to do with a Vera... anyhow he likes the shortform Peevee much better. *smile* But now enough of words - now we're showing some pictures of my green spring beary - originally taken in summer... *LOL*

Bärchenliebe

Hallo,

 

heute möchten sich Wilma und Fred vorstellen - ein Bärchenpaar, das ich im Auftrag für eine liebe Kundin genäht habe. Sie hat mir netterweise völlig freie Hand gelassen - es sollte nur am Ende irgendwie ein Paar dabei heraus kommen. Nun, Wilma und Fred mussten sich tatsächlich nur einmal tief in die Augen sehen und haben dann beschlossen, dass sie für immer zusammen bleiben wollen... Ach ja, Bärchenliebe ist doch etwas Wunderbares... *lach*

... today Wilma and Fred would like to be introduced - a beary couple I have sewn as a commission for a dear customer. She kindly left all options to me - the only request was that there  should be a couple in the end. Well, Wilma and Fred only had to look deeply in each others eyes for one time and decided that they would stay together for always... My, beary love is something special for sure... *LOL*

Bärige Helden in schwarz-weiß

Hallo,

 

nun wird es Zeit, dass sich die ersten BiWuBärchen vorstellen, die mir im Jahr 2014 von der Nadel gehüpft sind - ist ja nicht so, dass ich da völlig untätig wäre. Und es sind zwei ganz besondere BiWuBärchen entstanden, eine Auftragsarbeit für meine liebe Blogfreundin Betsy, die ganz genaue Vorstellungen hatte, was für Bärchen entstehen sollten. Einen schwarzen Ritter wollte sie gerne haben... als Freund für Blue, die schon seit letztem Jahr bei Betsy in den USA lebt. Und Blue sollte auch einen Bruder haben, einen weißen Mönch. Und natürlich mussten beide geflügelte Feenbärchen werden, genau wie Blue. Und weil Betsy nicht nur wunderbare Miniaturwelten schafft und eine unglaublich talentierte Malerin sondern auch eine begnadete Geschichtenerzählerin ist hat sie mir dankenswerterweise die Namen für ihre beiden Bärchen gleich mitgeliefert. Damit genug der Vorrede - ich darf präsentieren: Sir Orion Blackthorne the Skywalker und Brother Beorn!
... now it's time to introduce the first BiWuBearies that have hopped from my needle in the year 2014 - not that you start to think I'm lazy. And these are two very special BiWuBearies, a commission for my dear blogfriend Betsy who knew exactly how these bears should become in the end. She wanted to have a black knight... as a boyfriend for Blue who is living since last year with Betsy in the USA. And Blue also should have a brother, a white monk. And of course both of them should be winged fairy bears as Blue. And because Betsy not only creates beautiful miniature worlds and is an incredibly talented painter but being also a blessed storyteller she delivered the names of the two bearies with her commission. But now enough of that background stuff - I may present to you: Sir Orion Blackthorne the Skywalker and Brother Beorn!

             

             

Schwarze Bärchen haben es ja immer ein bisschen in sich... und auch beim Ritterthema musste ich ein klein wenig tüfteln - aber nun kann der tapfere Bärchenritter Sir Orion auch sein Schwert halten und damit jeden beschützen, der in Not ist.
Black bearies are always a little bit tricky... and I had to think a little about that knight theme, too - but now the brave beary knight Sir Orion is able to hold his sword to protect anyone who is in need.
         

                 

Ja, sein Fell ist wirklich komplett schwarz... ;O)
Yes, his fur is completely black indeed... ;O)
        

            

Aber ein Ritter kann natürlich auch romantisch sein - bei seiner ersten Begegnung mit Blue hat Orion ihr eine magische, goldene Rose überreicht.
But of course a knight also knows about romance - when first meeting Blue Orion gave a magic golden rose to her.

             

       

Aber natürlich fühlt sich so ein Bärchenritter auch besonders wohl auf einem Pferderücken.
And a beary knight feels comfortable on horseback for sure.

             

            

Und es war für ihn eine große Ehre, einmal auf dem Rücken von Oberon, dem Leithengst der Regenbogeneinhörner, reiten zu dürfen.
It was a big honor for him being allowed to ride on the back of Oberon, the leader of the Rainbow Unicorns.
          

           

Brother Beorn ist Blues Bruder... und wie gewünscht ist er komplett weiß. Ein Mönch ist er allerdings nicht ganz geworden, aber dafür ein weiser Druide, der ein großes Wissen in Kräuterheilkunde hat.
Brother Beorn is Blue's brother... and as requested he's completely white. But he didn't become a monk at all, he grew into a wise druid with a big knowledge about healing with herbs.
              

          

Deshalb trifft man Brother Beorn fast nur mit seinem Kräuterbuch in der Pfote an (das übrigens einen Einband aus Gras hat)...
That's why you find Brother Beorn very often holding his herb book in his paws (which has a grass cover btw)...
               

           

... und er hat auch immer Kräuter am Gürtel oder in seinem Lederbeutel dabei - und seine Handsichel, damit er die Kräuter jederzeit schneiden kann. Die Sichel habe ich aus Fimo gemacht und dabei hat mir dankenswerterweise der berühmteste aller Druiden, der weise Miraculix aus Asterix' Dorf, Modell gestanden. ;O)
... and he always carries some herbs in his belt or in his leather purse with him - and his hand sickle to make sure he can cut herbs whenever he wants to. I've made the sickle from polymer clay and was lucky that the most famous of all druids, the wise Getafix from the village of Asterix, showed me his for model purposes.
        

          

Orion und Beorn sind nach langer Reise in die USA wohlbehalten in ihrem neuen Zuhause angekommen und werden dort zusammen mit Blue sicherlich noch einige Abenteuer erleben. Und so viel steht fest - sie werden es dort richtig gut haben, denn Betsy baut gerade einen Wolkenpalast für ihre Feenbärchen... ;O)

Orion and Beorn arrived safe and sound after a long travel in the USA and are supposed to go through some adventures togehter with Blue. And this is for sure - they found a great home, especially because Betsy started to build a cloud palace for her fairy bearies... ;O)

Zauberhafte Weihnachten

Hallo,

 

dieses Jahr zu Weihnachten hat eines meiner Bärchen einen großen Auftritt als Weihnachtsgeschenk gehabt - meine Bärchenhexe Plumella Hazelton hat geduldig in ihrem Päckchen gewartet, bis sie endlich ihre neue Besitzerin kennen lernen durfte: Flubys und meine beste kleine Freundin Shania - die 7-jährige Tochter meiner Freundin Melli.

... this year at Christmas it was showtime for one of my bearies being a Christmas gift - my beary witch Plumella Hazelton was waiting patiently in her packet until she could get to know her new owner: Fluby's and mine best little friend Shania - the 7-year-old daughter of my friend Melli.

         

          

Plumella ist übrigens die Nichte von Sir Archibald Hazelton... und wie man unschwer erkennen kann, hat auch sie in einem Duell mit dem Bösen Magier einiges verloren...

Plumella btw is the niece of Sir Archibald Hazelton... and as you can easily see she too lost something in a duel with the Evil Wizard...

      

          

Ob es allerdings an der ähnlichen Figur liegt, dass sie sich mit Snowy so gut versteht...

But if the similar figure might be the reason why she gets along so well with Snowy...

            

 

... oder mehr daran, dass die beiden zusammen gereist sind, der eine als Geschenk für Melli und die andere als Geschenk für Shania... man weiß es nicht. Ist ja aber auch egal, Hauptsache, die beiden verstehen sich und Snowy kommt gut mit der Zauberei klar... *lach*

... or if it might be the fact that they both traveled together, one as a gift for Melli and the other as a gift for Shania... noone can know. But anyway, the only thing that counts is that they like each other and Snowy isn't afraid when she starts to spread her magic... *LOL*

 

 

Und ordentlich gezaubert hat Plumella auch, nachdem sie Shania kennen gelernt hatte. Diese Bilder habe ich mir einfach gemopst - aber die sind so schön, die muss ich hier einfach zeigen (Sei mir nicht böse, Kleines... aber die Fotos hast Du einfach klasse hingekriegt... naja, bist eben Papas Tochter... *zwinker*)

And Plumella spread a lot of magic after making friends with Shania. I admit I have "stolen" these pictures - but they are so lovely that I simply have to show them here (Don't be angry with me, dearie.. but you've taken some fantastic photos... well, you're Daddy's girl for sure... *wink*) 

 

Gleich nach ihrer Ankunft hat Plumella nämlich den heimtückischen Kalorien den Kampf angesagt... die ganz besonders gefährlich sind, wenn sie in Form von Schokoladenweihnachtsmännern daher kommen...

Right away after her arrival Plumella started a fight against the treacherous calories... which are extremely dangerous when they come along in the shape of chocolate Santas...

 

 

Statt Schokolade hat sich Plumella lieber einen guten Freund gewünscht...

Plumella prefered having a good friend instead of chocolate...

 

 

... und die Schokolade gegen einen Schildkrötenfreund eingetauscht. Kassiopeia heißt ihre neue Freundin und wenn Plumella ihren Zauberstab schwingt, dann wird Kassiopeia nicht nur groß sondern sogar zum Reittier. Das glaubt Ihr nicht? Na, dann seht selbst:

... and exchanged the chocolate for a turtle friend. Kassiopeia is the name of her new friend and when Plumella starts to wave her wand Kassiopeia not only turns big but she also becomes a riding animal. You don't believe that? Well, then trust your eyes:

           

 

 

Praktisch, oder? Ich wünschte, das könnte ich mit meinem Auto auch machen... *lach*

Very convenient, isn't it? I really wish I'd be able to do this with my car... *LOL*
